Currently, my suggestions are Slaughterhouse-Five or Mary Shelley's Frankenstein...as I have yet to read either.

Cat, I'll let you push things along on that one. I am leaving the country for three weeks on Saturday, and will have limited internet access. If there is no consensus by the time you leave, let's assume we read As I Lay Dying and Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress, as these are the only other suggested books at present. However, if everyone comes to a consensus before, say, May 25th, we'll read other books. So, if there are no other grand campaigns for books to read before these two by May 25th, for Cathy's convenience, let's plan on these two?

Alright, since no one seemed to protest, after we read Fahrenheit 451 we will read As I Lay Dying and Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress. Looking forward to discussing with everyone!
